Demonstrations & Stunts
National Climate Justice Marches: LINE participated in several climate justice demonstrations including in February and December 2005, and in Nov 2006 at which 30, 000 people conjugated.The first two pictures show LINE members at the 2006 and Dec 2005 demonstrations. The photo just below & right is at a demo in Bangladesh, at the same time as the Dec 2005 one in London!

'Snorkel Muslims' Climate Stunt Brick Lane: 20th Nov 2005. Timed just a few days before a national climate demonstration & right at the start of Islam Awareness Week (IAW) 2005. The next year the environment featured heavily in the IAW agenda. The stunt was reported in the press and Muzammal was interviewed on Sunrise and BBC Southern counties radio. Social and Educational Outings
 Organic Farm Trips: LINE members have organised numerous day trips to Willowbrook organic farm (left) in Oxfordshire, which have been rewarding and fun. Activities have included tree-planting, educational tours and organic barbecues.
  
Day Trip to Stave Hill Ecology Park, London 26th Feb 2006 (above): Organised by LINE, BTCV and TRUE. The day included guided walks, short talks by members of the three organisations, organic food share, and a hands-on approach to learning about conservation.
Organic food share picnic, Regents Park, Summer 2004. A small contingent poses for a photo! This picnic was attended by about twenty-five people. Since then LINE has organised a similar picnic each successive year. Why not bring your fiends & family, and join us for our next one?!
